Urban Centres

The Perspective Course lists a number of mission agencies that they partner with in preparing the student body to understand the dynamics of mission.  Only two of them list cities in their mission or purpose statements.

Operation Mobilization:  With over 6000 workers in 110 countries OM seeks to plant churches in the least reached parts of the world. Through short and long term teams we reach communities with Christ using culturally relevant means including: Crisis Relief, Community Development, Medical, Sports, Arts, Business and other bridge building ministries. Along with reaching port cities in the developing world with our ships we focus on the Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist and Secular (Europe) World.

WorldVenture is people: A network of partners working together with a shared vision to see people of all nations transformed by Jesus Christ, through partnership with his church. Since 1943, a group of pastors organized a mission sending agency, today with 600 workers in 70 countries around the globe. By using church, family, government, business, science, media, the arts, and education, we use natural inroads of influence to bring transformation into the whole of cultures, cities, and people's lives.
